Shinoi Ryu runs a junior club on Sunday Afternoon in Great Totham Village Hall, Maldon Road.

Sensei John McVelia is the chief instructor. He trains Thursday nights with NEEJ and both himself and Shinoi Ryu follow the Jikishin syllabus. John has had very good success in the two National competitions that his club has attended and his syllabus work is of a very high standard.

After leaving Essex for the sunnier climates of Cornwall, Sensei Trevor Wicket has now started I-doshi Jujitsu Jikishin-do in Callington in February this year.

This is an adults only class at present but Trevor will look to expand his excellent club to juniors in the near future.

Trevor is an excellent Jujitsu practitioner and a natural coach. With his strong military background, he is a natural in unarmed combat.
